What have I been up to in April, 2019?
Well, I had a last-minute post, at the end of March, I wanted to share with you.
Who She Was is Annlyel’s up and coming debut novel. I was very fortunate to be the first person to read and review this wonderful piece of Annlyels’ work.
This photo means the absolute world to me. I never thought I would be able to get a photo of us standing side by side, ever again. I’ve been working really hard to control my balance and my hard work has paid off! This photo also gives me hope that I will be able to stand for, at least some of, our wedding photos! Not long now!
Brandon, from Just Some Sober Guy posted on Twitter that he was looking to share recovery stories so I got in contact with him to see if he would be interested in sharing a bit about my recovery on his blog. I was very grateful that he was!
I had my 6 monthly check up with my neurologist and he is always happy to see me! Plus, he is one of the very few people who is willing to use my assistive technology (my tablet with speech to text function). He loves using it and is quite happy with himself when he says a word, which could be difficult to pick up, and it does! Makes me laugh.
He was very happy with my progress and it feels surreal that the next time I see him, I will be a married woman!
A few weeks back, I had an appointment at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London to see if anything has changed but I won’t know the results until next month so fingers crossed!
Nykole, from The Perks Of Being Twenty-Something is an awesome blogger! Very honest which I love. Nyk was looking for fellow bloggers to provide a guest post about a topic relating to mental health. Hence, Blogging, Writing and Mental Health.
Tinka, from Little Tinkablee very kindly nominated me for the ‘Sunshine Blogger Award’!
Ewan and I went to watch Avengers Endgame and it was in an awesome league of its own awesomeness! I wanted to briefly share with you all my experience of watching Endgame as a hearing and visually impaired person.
Another productive month, however, I have been really struggling with a negative mindset so I will be taking a break from blogging and I won’t be on social media as much.
See you all soon ❤
Thank you so much for such an amazing shout out! It was a true pleasure working with you, and I certainly hope to do more with you in the future!
