Chelsea, from Norfolk, has created a campaign via Scope for Change. She is campaigning for more disability training for staff, at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, which will improve the experience for disabled people.
She would like to hear about your experiences – have you been treated unfairly at this hospital because of your disability? Anything you feel comfortable with sharing, please do speak to Chelsea – you have the option to be anonymous or you can agree to ensuring your name is mentioned. It’s entirely up to you.
Personally, I don’t go to this hospital as King’s Lynn is much closer.
But if you do, and feel comfortable with sharing your bad experience with Chelsea, then please head over to her campaigns Facebook Page, NNUH For Me, which you can contact her via sending a private message.
Her page also let’s supporters keep up to date with the latest about the campaign – I’m really looking forward to seeing the outcome as I believe Chelsea can make a difference!
Thanks for this, it’s my local hospital and they definitely need some disability awareness training!
Thanks Gemma! Wait…are you a fellow country bumpkin? ??
I am indeed. I will get around to your email soon, I’m still not well. But when I saw you were in Norfolk I meant to message!
Theres no rush at all ? I hope things settle for you soon! ?
