If you’ve been following my blog for a while, then you will notice I have revamped my blog!
I upgraded my WordPress blog plan to Premium and there is so much more freedom! I’m still learning what I can do with the premium upgrade so there may be a few more changes.
The new layout and style feel more like what I’ve been aiming for. Ultimately, I would love a superhero-styled blog! If you know me by now, I love Loki (well, Tom Hiddleston) and I loved the gold features on the theme I am using now so I chose this without giving it a second thought!
From the very beginning of UndercoverSuperhero, I had always wanted a logo. I tried creating my own logo but it was crap – I’m not the best with design, I like to keep it simple and basic.
Anyway, I got talking to a friend on Twitter, Charlotte who blogs at Time To Talk. She is one of the loveliest people I’ve ever spoken to and we are on the same wavelength which is a bonus!
I was talking about trying to find someone who would be able to make a logo for my blog. Charlotte admitted that she created her logo for her blog and I have always loved her logo from the moment I came across her blog.
She very kindly offered to have a go at making a logo for me. She had shown me a couple of examples that she had created for someone else, and I loved them – the style was exactly what I was looking for!
I will shut up in a minute, I promise!
The next day, Charlotte sent me a DM on Twitter and from the notification, I could read that it said that she had shared an image. I was giddy with excitement!
Once I tapped the DM to open it up, I scrolled up and tapped the image. It took a few seconds to load but when it appeared on my screen…
I cried…
It is so freakin’ awesome! I was like a little kid at Christmas, I was messaging everyone saying, “Look at what my friends’ just created for me!”
Right… I will shut up now…
