What Was Your Favourite Toy As A Child?
There is one toy that sticks out in particular, I can never remember the name of it though. It was plastic and when it was thrown into the air, it would expand into a ball, then collapse into a star shape when it came back down.
I remember seeing one in a shop a few years ago, and I couldn’t stop staring at them, I was like “Oh my goodness, they still do them?!” I picked one up and was so tempted to toss it into the air but there were people about.
I’m going to look on Amazon to see if they still do them… so I typed in expander ball toy and as soon as I clicked search, I realised how wrong that sounded and I immediately dreaded what the search results were going to come up with…
But thankfully Amazon knew what I was on about and I found it! It’s called Expanding Magic Ball (clickable link and not an affiliate link).
I really want one now, and have just seen they do a green one! Yay! I always had the multicoloured one, and I’ll tell you now, that was the first time I experienced heartbreak.. When the toy broke, I was so distraught!
They were my absolute favourite and I can’t wait to buy myself one again… ahem, I mean Daisy because she’s the child and I’m supposed to be a grown-up…
Who am I kidding? I’m definitely buying one for myself!
