After being gifted The Stationery Society’s Subscription Box (seaside-themed) to review, I subscribed and now pay monthly for each box – as I really enjoyed reviewing their first box, I will continue to review each box. All thoughts are my own. Read my full disclosure for more information.
The Stationery Society’s subscription box for August was adventure-themed and it sure did feel like I was opening a treasure chest of stationery goodies!
As I mentioned in my first review, TSS donate 25% of sales from each box and, in relation to their adventure-themed box, they will be donating to Dementia Adventure – a non-profit organisation that aims to enable people living with dementia to get outdoors, connect with nature, themselves, and their community.

Cards by Lisa Kirkbride, Laura Burnett, Yuk Fun, and Fox & Fauna
The Stationery Society has collaborated with more talented artists and produced another set of high-quality cards. Admittedly, the designs in this month’s box are not something that I’d be automatically drawn to, however, when I studied the details of each design, I liked the quirkiness (is that a word?) of each design.
My favourite design has to be by Fox & Fauna, I know a few people who would love this design (cats, obviously!) So, I’m definitely keeping an eye out for what else Fox & Fauna has to offer!
Pin Badge by The Happy Chappo
I absolutely adore this pin badge, it’s beyond cute and adorable… but I have no idea what it is apart from that it has a tail! I’m assuming it’s a cat, I might be wrong… I probably am.
It will be joining my growing pin badge collection! I highly recommend following The Happy Chappo on Instagram because their designs and photos really brighten up your insta feed!
Notebook by Rho Rho Illustrations
I love notebooks with motivational quotes as they really help me to get my butt into gear! This design is beautifully illustrated – one style that pops up whenever I see a design by Rho Rho Illustrations is ‘old-fashioned’.
The notebook has become quite sentimental to me as the quote has made me stop and think of everything I’ve achieved – which is something I can continue adding to over the years and look back on.
Exceptional quality and my first ever notebook that I’ve become attached to!
Notebook and Notepad by Laura Burnett
When I first saw the treasure chest styled notebook, I thought it was an actual little treasure chest as it looks incredibly realistic! I really like the design and it’s evident that Laura has amazing attention to detail.
I will point out that when I opened and closed the notebook, it didn’t close evenly but it didn’t hinder my overall impression of the notebook.
I’m definitely saving this for Daisy’s first treasure hunt as it’d be perfect to write clues and any little adventures along the way!
Oh my goodness, I am in love with this notepad! It’s super high-quality and another fantastic design by Laura. A new to-do list added to my collection – yes, I have a small collection of to-do lists, who doesn’t?
Laura Burnett is fast becoming one of my favourite artists – very talented and I’m excited to see what other designs she has up her sleeve!
… and that’s the adventure-themed box! It’s hard to compare to their seaside-themed box so I’m going to have to say they are on par, I can’t wait to see what September’s box features!
