After being gifted The Stationery Society’s Subscription Box (seaside-themed) to review, I subscribed and now pay quarterly for the subscription – as I really enjoyed reviewing their first box, I will continue to review each box. Anyway, enough of making you feel old, The Stationery Society have included some incredible stationery goodies in their Christmas-themed box and I’m excited to show them to you!
Christmas means something different to each person, doesn’t it? I’ve never really settled on what it means to me personally and I think it’s due to the ever-changing perspective when you reach a certain age or something happens in your life to make you look at things differently.
It feels like yesterday that I was writing long lists from the Argos catalogue, noting down the catalogue number, page number, and how much the item was. I’d even add everything up at the bottom, you know, going the extra mile and saving my parents a job of how much everything would add up to.
It makes me smile remembering those years, and now that I have Daisy, seeing her all excited when she opens presents and finds her favourite characters as soft cuddly toys. Seeing her face light up, smile and squeal, just her experiencing joy means everything to me. I hope we retain the magic of Christmas for many years to come.
Anyway, enough sentimentality from me.

Cards by Unknown, Rho Rho Illustrations & Lisa Kirkbride
Okay, these cards are super cute and I’m still having a hard time picking a favourite! I have a very organised Christmas card system for when the season comes around, I limit myself to buying 10 cards that I can buy directly from the creator, then for everyone else I get a huge multipack of cards to send.
I love learning about people, and especially with any type of creator, you can find out about their personality, their style, and so much more by looking at what they’ve created. That’s why I buy directly from creators, and because I’m able to connect with their designs.
The card on the left really catches my eye, it makes me feel youthful, wanting to spread a bit of happiness and love. Without a doubt, this card would be perfect for Daisy, or any of our nieces and nephews. It’s absolutely adorable!

Everybody loves a good Christmas jumper, or a bad one, don’t they? They are created to make a bold statement, or to make you look like an idiot, but we’ll go with the former in line with spreading joy!
I love this Christmas jumper themed pin badge, it’s amazing how much detail can go into something that’s already so small! It’s a cute little accessory that brings back all of the Christmas jumpers I’ve owned over the years. Have you had a favourite Christmas jumper? (I’ve said Christmas jumper waaaaay too many times)

This gift wrap is absolutely stunning, so beautiful that I don’t want to use it! It’s brilliant quality, nothing like cheap and cheerful rolls of wrapping paper that you can get from a supermarket.
I really can’t think of anything else to say about this other than it’s bloody stunning!
Notepads by Unknown & Laura Burnett
My favourite artist, Laura Burnett has done it again with the notepad on the right – it’s beautiful, has a lovely design and makes you feel all Christmassy! I really wish I could make notepads as she can.
I’m in two minds about the notepad on the left, I like it because it’s bright and colourful, but the design doesn’t really do anything for me, unfortunately. Plus, I need lines otherwise my writing goes astray (thanks to central vision loss).
Both Christmas-themed notepads are of beautiful quality, and as a stationery addict, notepads and notebooks are something I always look forward to.
