I’ve been wanting to freshen up my blog and social media accounts for some time now, and I decided to start by opting to have a completely new logo. Admittedly, I’m not the most creative so coming up with ideas as to what I would like it to include was a bit of a minefield.
That was one part of the puzzle, the next was to find a logo/graphic designer who could make sense of all my ideas and hopefully create something beautiful!
I asked on Twitter if anybody could recommend a graphic designer, and slowly but surely, I received messages. I just want to give a quick shout out to Megan, and Pauline who kindly offered their services and it really was a tough choice as all their work is incredible and unique, please do check out their work!
I chose Amy as I watched a few of her animations that she had created previously, and I was blown away. She offered me a great price for both a logo and a social media banner, which I was more than happy to pay. Another aspect I found helpful was that, with Amy, you can pay half of the total price upfront, and the remainder once completed. Plus, unlimited revisions!
The ideas that I told Amy were: Loki, me in my wheelchair, and with the colours green, black and gold.
And gosh, she did make it beautiful!
I highly recommend Amy as she is great to work with, her work really is amazing and she will turn your ideas into something incredible!
